Buckingham staff

The Buckingham County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is your local connection to Virginia's land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University. Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Buckingham County improve their lives. We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

What's New 

2019 Junior 4-H Camp

4-H Camp is a fun and exciting way for youth ages 9-13 to spend a week away from home.  Campers from Buckingham, Prince Edward and Charlotte Counties spend a great week at Holiday Lake 4-H Center, learning new skills, making new friends and catching up with old buddies.  Registration is open until all spaces in camp are filled.

2019 Cloverbud Camp

Cloverbud is designed to introduce children ages 5-8, to the 4-H Camping experience.  Cloverbuders will experience the fun and excitement of the 4-H Camping Program as they learn new things, sing camp songs, and participate in hands-on activites.
